…Tomorrow’s pickin’ Valentines
Yesterday was an absolutely fantastic Singles Awareness Day. Weird for me to think of.
Full of little things like watching 10 Things I Hate About You till 3 am with a beautiful girl that can quote the whole movie. Letters To Cleo and Kay Hanley… always puts me over the moon. After a good sleep I got up and went to Shibuya to see Quasi. I met Janet Weiss my favourite drummer and watched her perform. It wasn’t the same as Sleater-Kinney but it was still the cats pajamas. She’s a phenominal drummer. I now have 2 of 3 signatures from Sleater-Kinney. After that I came home and the same girl I watched 10 Things with waited up for me so we could do our homework together and we stayed up till around 3:30 sharing music and sharing YouTube videos when we both had to get up early for class. She definitely has a boyfriend so I didn’t feel it was my place to act upon my feelings in the heat of the moment but c’est le vie.
